Some candles are meant to liquify as they burn.
Tea lights and votives both liquify as they burn, meaning they will melt down entirely into a wax pool. Candles liquify because they are typically small in diameter, create a wax pool quickly, and will run over the sides if not contained.
We sell our Beeswax Tea Lights in metal or plastic cups. These are ready to use and can be lit and burned as is, the cups prevent wax from spilling.
We also sell many different kinds of Beeswax Votives. Our votives are beautiful and festive, they make perfect accent candles and are always a crowd pleaser because of their novelty. To safely burn your votives, however, you'll need to place them inside of a votive holder roughly the same size as the candle. Note: we said inside and not on top of. Votives should not be burned on top of a regular candle dish, they should be burned in a container that will hold all the melted wax (unless you love scraping wax off of surfaces).
Tea lights and votives are top sellers, they're timeless classics that are relatively simple to maintain as long as they are contained.
