What's the Difference Between Natural and Ivory Beeswax?

Beautiful but different, our two best selling colors - Natural and Ivory Beeswax

Natural and ivory candles are our two best sellers, and it's for a good reason! They are classic colors, match with almost any decor or event setting, and although we call them "colors" they actually have nothing added to them. Let's get into their differences!

Natural Beeswax Candles

Natural is simply beeswax that has been melted down and lightly filtered. It's been filtered to remove any large particles and debris but is not filtered enough to remove any micro particles meaning the wax keeps its goldenrod color and natural honey scent.

No two batches of beeswax are the same. So, if you ever notice a slight variation in the color or scent of your natural beeswax candles just know that is normal!

Ivory Beeswax Candles

Ivory beeswax on the other hand is more finely filtered. All of the particles from large to micro have been filtered out of ivory beeswax leaving it without any pigment or scent.

Burn times for each will vary more depending on the type of candle than the color of the wax. For instance, a tea light will burn for much less time than a solid pillar, but an ivory tea light and a natural tea light will burn for about the same amount of time.

Whichever you choose, you can't go wrong! Both classic beeswax candle colors look incredible and burn beautifully.
